I am currently a first year graduate student at University of California, San Diego majoring in Computer Science.

My principal interests lie in the area of machine learning and data mining. I am also passionate about the application of machine learning methods in natural language processing.

    The website theme is co-designed and shared with my darling Zhankui He (already falling in love for days). We were insipred by the layout of Prof. Zhang's homepage. I choose blue as the main color since it reminds me of sunshine, sky, sea waves, and, last but not least, freedom.

  • In my spare time, I really enjoy finding beautiful things in my life, scenery, foods, music, books, and also, stories of different but interesting people.
  • Sometimes when I see a beautiful scenery, I'll take photos. Here are some photos I took, hope you enjoy the beauty too!
  • I also love cycling around! In winter 2017, I traveled around Hainan Island by bicycle (over 800km) with members of Fudan University Cycling Club.
  • Before graduated from Fudan University, together with several friends, I create a website called Hotpot aimed at sharing graduate application results and experiences for Fudaners. Now we have over 350 users and 50k clicks!
  • My english name is Caroline, and it's from a character on The Vampire Diaries. TVD was one of the most popular american TV series in my high school, and Caroline is funny, fierce, honest, and a pillar of strength for everyone around her. I really love her personality, so when I was aked "Have you picked a english name?" by my host family during an exchange to Chief Sealth International High School in Seattle, it became the first name came into my mind.
